To encourage the use of student self-reflection and meaningful formative assessment, we all need lesson targets that are transparent, kid-friendly, measurable and that put students in the driver’s seat. This workshop will address fundamental differences between lesson objectives and learning targets, show teachers how to craft targets quickly and easily, and provide time and sharing of great examples.
