A presentation on When Being Smart Isn’t Enough: The Role Executive Function Skills Play In The Development Of Organization and Study Skills will be given by social worker Shelley Karpel and special education teacher Bonnie Leaf.

This presentation will include a discussion of eleven executive functions (a set of cognitive abilities that act as our “brain manager”) and how they impact well-being and performance in school and at home. Attendees will leave with strategies they can use to improve organization and study skills.
