Adams 14 is the first District in metro-Denver selected to experience Celebrate the Beat, a Colorado nonprofit that teaches inspirational music and dance classes that help children discover their potential by motivating them to believe in themselves, value artistic expression and develop a personal standard of excellence. CTB staff are professional dancers and musicians who have trained both in Colorado and at the National Dance Institute in New York City.

During the 2012-13 school year, CTB has taught and delivered community performances at three Adams 14 schools. Third, fourth and fifth graders from Rose Hill Elementary, the final participating school, will celebrate the success of their CTB program with a final performance that is open to the entire community. Students will showcase their month of hard work and preparation at this community event hosted in the Adams City High School Theatre.
