  1. Why is Stand for Children taking up the district’s responsibility to its families?

  2. Elise Edelson Katch says:

Simple. Are you kidding? Simple for who? The parents who have the time to visit 9 schools for their 4 year-old and then be able to evaluate the differences in those educational programs. The anxiety among parents and children that this new system has generated is so very wrong. This is like 10 year-olds having to apply for college. Very wrong. Very confusing. Very defensive. Very DPS. Would it not be great if all DPS schools taught all of their students to read and write and to add and subtract. Now that’s simple.
