A great story, with one small exception to a quote I have to take….

“Kennedy is likely to face Walker Stapleton, a little-known but well-financed GOP businessman who is a member of the extended Bush family.”

Maybe. Maybe not. Neither Stapleton nor primary rival J.J. Ament can be seen as a clear frontrunner at this point. I don’t have a dog in the fight, but I do watch Colorado Republican primary politics fairly closely. And I don’t think it’s “likely” that anyone can and will emerge as a frontrunner in the Treasurer’s race until at least the state assembly next May.
